Why we picked this
Rubin's work depends on the mechanics of storytelling at their most elemental. Watching him respond to 3,000 years of narrative objects should reveal how a modern fabulist thinks about the craft.
Adam Rubin, the children’s book author known for Dragons Love Tacos, High Five, and the Those Darn Squirrels trilogy, brings his storyteller’s eye to the Morgan’s Come Together: 3,000 Years of Stories and Storytelling exhibition. The Creative Insights series invites writers, artists, and performers to respond to objects in the galleries from their own creative perspective.
The talk takes place in the Engelhard Gallery on the second floor. No advance registration is required, but space is limited.
